Manufactured Homes in Marion, Indiana: Making One Showroom Visit Count

Marion is the county seat of Grant County, on the Mississinewa River in east-central Indiana. Buyers from this far south usually plan one trip to our Auburn showroom rather than several, and that is a perfectly good way to buy a manufactured home — as long as the visit is planned. A little homework turns a pleasant look-around into a day that ends with a line-item quote you can act on.
Before you leave home
- Shortlist plans online. Browse the floor plans and pick three or four to walk, plus a couple of alternates. Tell us which ones when you call ahead.
- Bring your land details — the address or parcel number, rough dimensions, and anything you already know about the well, septic or utilities.
- Measure what you are keeping. The bed, the sofa, the dining table. Write the sizes down.
- Write your questions down, and bring everyone who will live in the home if you can.
While you are walking the homes
Stand in each room and picture a normal day. Open the closets. Run water at the kitchen sink and look at where the light falls. Compare two homes of similar size back to back, so the differences are fresh. Ask which options each plan offers, because renderings and models can show optional features.
Leave with a quote, not just brochures
Ask for a line-item quote on your top choice: the home, each option and delivery on separate lines. That is what lets you compare honestly at home, against another dealer if you like. Site work and setup are yours to contract, so budget them separately using the ranges in our pricing guide; we sell the home and arrange delivery.
Plan the day
The showroom is open Monday to Friday 9–5 and Saturday 10–4. Call ahead so the homes you want to see are ready, and allow a couple of hours to walk them properly.
